January 30th 2011

Japanese lunch.
One thing that is quite different from Lebanon is the amount of ethnic restaurants in the U.S.
Fayetteville is considered to be a smaller town; still, I have tasted here food from around the world much more than I have ever tasted in all of Lebanon.
Now we must say that Lebanese food compared to U.S. food wins 10-0 but diversity is still a very important factor. And, even more importantly, in Lebanon, we do have Japanese restaurants but some only sell sushi, what about the other Japanese food? What about the real authentic Mexican and Chinese food?
We do not have any Indian, Vietnamese, or Thai restaurant which I grew up to love in here.
Some might think that it might be too daring to open such a restaurant but Lebanese love food, love anything new, and love anything different. So a little more diversity in the food please.
